Nova is a beautiful Dutch bunny, and already one of the sweetest bunnies we have at the rescue. She just wants to be pet all the time! For the past three months before coming to the rescue, Nova was living at her Grandma’s house. Grandma has worked hard to establish a calm, reliable routine with Nova. While there, she became fond of the resident border collie and would snuggle next to him, which tells us she would LOVE a bunny companion!
She is excellent with her litter box and has not made messes in the house at all. She will chew paper if the opportunity arises; she nibbled the binding off a whole shelf of old books. (What can we say, she just has good taste!)
She is easy to handle and was picked up a lot in her previous home. Although she is very sweet, she can also be a little sassy and is not afraid to let you know when she’s had enough with a little grunt or light nip. We think she would do best in a quieter home without small children. She has a very fun personality though and loves to explore!
